The 2024 China-Zambia Culture and Tourism Year opening ceremony along with the Zambia Tourism Promotion was held in Beijing on Saturday. During the opening ceremony, Zambian Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba and Zambian Ambassador to China Ivan Zyuulu delivered speeches.

Through the colorful artworks and the enthusiastic singing and dancing performances at the site, artists presented the deep friendship between the two countries, while industry representatives discussed the opportunities for bilateral cooperation. (Xue Lingqiao and Wang Gaofei)

5月11日，万吨级江海直达船舶“创新5”轮驶过重庆中心城区水域，直航至珞璜港。这开创了万吨级江海直达船舶从沿海直航重庆的先河，并开启舟山至重庆的江海直达新航线。此次航行中，“创新5”号载运5400吨大豆，自4月24日离开宁波舟山港后，直接驶向重庆万州新田港和珞璜港，省去了传统的长江中下游港口转运环节，可大幅缩短运输时间。
